On stopping at any place, the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught seeking refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created. He said whoever says it will not be harmed until they leave that place.

On setting off, the travel dua from Surah Az-Zukhruf, glorifying the One who made this subservient to us, along with asking Allah for righteousness and ease in the journey.
